Hello! My name is Ashley Vinton and I am a first year teacher in a high-school special education (Self-Contained, Moderate and Severe Disabilities) classroom in a Title I school. My students have varying disabilities, but I have high expectations for all of them. Their "label" does not define them in my classroom. I believe that all students are capable of learning, as long as we adapt to their needs. My students are high spirited individuals who continually uplift me with their positive outlooks and love of learning. Each day we strive towards independence, inside and outside of the classroom. "Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid." - Albert Einstein
