I chose these books to go with the reading curriculum called Rooted in Reading. I want to open the magic for my students with these beautiful books and their stories. It is a wonderful curriculum that my students and I really enjoy. We go over new vocabulary, which is all of our favorite parts of the week and the students really retain the words. We also go over reading skills the align with our standards, read the book with question prompts, activities for interactive notebooks, extra reading passages, and a craft for Friday. The paper is for the activities and crafts. The binders are for the RIR curriculum hard copies.
