I am requesting two Apple iPads for my classroom. An iPad offers multiple benefits in the classroom as a learning tool and is a resource that prepares students to use technology in their daily lives. There are many different ways to use an iPad in the classroom to engage students and to enhance learning. Some students learn best using visuals while other children are auditory learners. Still others may learn best while playing a game. An iPad in the classroom can appeal to all of these different types of learners and serves as a multipurpose learning tool. In addition, every student learns at a different pace. Many educational apps are available for the iPad that allow students to work and excel at their own pace which makes learning more effective. Children will be using technological devices throughout their school years and into their future careers. Therefore, iPads are a valuable resource for developing 21st century skills in young learners. Please join me in increasing the availability of this wonderful learning tool by helping me acquire two new iPads for the coming school year!
