My scholars are all African American boys. Their guardians have chosen for them to attend a charter school for boys that cater to their gender specific needs. Although they are of the lowest socio-economic standing in the country they are surrounded by the love and care of families that selected our school for them and a staff that work extended hours beyond other local public schools. The staff specializes in boy’s education. We understand that boys usually learn with hands-on projects or physical movement. They usually can't be told the lesson. Most often they have to physically feel the lesson in order to understand it.
