The classroom in which I teach has 16 students. This class is a Special Education Self-Contained Class housing students with a variety of diagnoses including autism, other health impaired, visually impaired and intellectually disabled. These students have the need for movement throughout the day which is accomplished with the use of centers, small groups, and 1:1 teacher instruction. Because of the centers, this classroom needs more tables. I am requesting 8 student tables, 10 chairs, and one horseshoe table for use in small groups and as a teacher table.
