Each day my students are given the opportunity work in math centers. Math centers give the students a chance to practice what they are learning with a hands-on approach. Students are able to work at their own pace and focus on skills at their level. I hope to use three Kindle Fire tablets, along with our classroom computer and iPad, to create a technology math center. At this technology center, students could use educational math apps to focus on certain skills. They could also access a website that is linked to the curriculum our school is teaching. This website gives students the opportunity to work at their own pace and revisit any concepts they may be struggling with.

About my class
