In today's world, where teenagers are always looking at their cell phones, I encourage them to learn how to work in groups. In turn, this is a real life skill that is needed when they enter the workforce. I have recently redesigned my room to have a middle space for this collaboration. In order to do this, I need tables. We live in a world where collaboration needs to be taught to students so they can be successful in the modern workforce. These tables will allow my students to work together in order to increase their understanding of the topics - a need to be successful not just in my class, but in their future studies.
