These books will help start my inclusion classroom library for my English language learners. They come into my classroom for thirty minutes each day, and they have the opportunity to "pick a book, take a book." They are very responsible with taking them, taking good care of them, and bringing them back when they have finished reading them. Giving my students access to books about diversity is vital so that they can see themselves reflected in the world, but also see outside of their own lives. In addition, I will use these books to create lesson plans.
