I teach at a public school where each student majors in a performing or visual art field such as Music, the Visual Arts, Communication Arts, Theater or Dance. Students spend at least one quarter of their class time in arts classes and the rest of their time in rigorous academic classes. Physics is a required course and we offer Advanced Physics (a college preparatory course) as well as Advanced Placement Physics B and C. My students are talented, energetic and driven to be their best person.
