Fine arts class is offered to all grades in our school, Pre-K through 5th Grade. Every student gets to participate in stretching their creative minds. Art can impact students’ understanding and retention of key concepts and vocabulary, which is important as students advance in all subject areas. The paints, both watercolor and tempera, will allow students to creatively express themselves while being able to explore different mediums available. It will be used to paint artwork inspired by various well-known artists. Students will be able to see how different types of paints allow for their paintings to have different looks or outcomes.
