I am asking for basic supplies to get us through the end of the year. These supplies are used for a variety of projects for my beginning students- and unfortunately I am running very low on these items for 2nd semester for approximately 200 students. If you've ever sewn, you know that when you begin it can be a struggle but having the right materials will ensure that my beginning students gain a sense of success in their sewing projects. My students will use these materials to create a pincushion and stuffed animal. Through each of these projects the students will learn the essentials of hand sewing, like the running stitch, ladder stitch, tying a knot, and sewing on buttons. My students are motivated by things they see value in, and hands-on activities. Each student will see the value in these basic and versatile skills.
