My students are amazing. They are funny, compassionate, and driven. They never cease to amaze me with their creativity and kindness. They are smart and inquisitive, and I am truly blessed to be their teacher. Our classroom is our home and we are a family. We have disagreements and rough days, just like any other family, but we also have great days and a lot of love. We discuss our problems in a safe, open manner. We work through them respectfully and then make up. Although many of our family members come from low-income households, we never let that affect our learning. We love doing STEM projects, crafts, and research. We love exploring different topics - some favorites include the Civil Rights Movement, Slavery, animals (especially Fiona the hippo!), and machines. We very much appreciate the donations that help us explore our interests and become stronger leaders.
