Children learn by doing, manipulatives are the perfect tools to help their minds grow! And manipulatives are also a lot of fun!!! It's important to allow your students to have control of their own learning. My students will use these new manipulatives to practice a wide variety of skills... such as fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and visual discrimination. They will serve as concrete models for my students to use to solve their objectives. These will be used for introduction, reinforce practice, or remediate a concept. These will keep my students' attention as they naturally want to play and explore new concepts!
