My students come from diverse backgrounds of low social economic status. Their families have made huge sacrifices to afford them an education. They have such a thirst to learn and experience. I want them to be able to tell their stories and express themselves in creative ways. They do not have access to computers or technology and they are becoming victims of what is now a "digital divide." The students need opportunities to connect with the world around them and learn in creative, challenging ways.

About my class
