I look forward to meeting each students' reading needs with these already leveled readers. The leveled readers will help build each students' confidence in small group reading and independent reading. In my small reading groups, I will be able to provide a safe learning experience where students feel comfortable reading books that are on their level in front of peers. Taking their knowledge from small group instruction, students will be able to select books on their level during literacy centers. In literacy centers, students will build their confidence independently. Getting books in the hands of my students early on will help to foster their love for reading.
