A classroom library of leveled books from Lakeshore is just what we need. We have so many students who are just learning how to read, and it is very hard to find books on their level. I would love to have a class set of books so that everyone can have a book to read that they are interested in and can easily comprehend. These books will help boost their love of reading and strengthen their confidence as well. The books will be used for independent reading, and small group instruction. At times I will even ask the kids to read a book on their level to the class. This will tremendously increase their self esteem and allow them to enjoy different genres of books.
