Overall, our school involves the students in meaningful school experiences that promote the joy of learning while addressing students' individual needs. Our school has a rich tradition of delivering a strong academic curriculum to a diverse student population, especially new immigrants from all over the world who are English Language Learners. According to the most recent data from 2009-10, our school serves 665 students and 85% of students receive full or partially subsidized federal lunches The students also are from diverse ethnic backgrounds, including African American (11%), Chinese (59%), Latino (13%), Other Non-White (13%) and White (3%).
