I teach at an urban Title I school. My students are from a variety of backgrounds. They all face their own challenges outside of school. I have students that are English Language Learners, I have students with IEPs, and I have students that are designated G.A.T.E. I have a great group of kids! They have so much enthusiasm. They really want to learn! I try to make my classroom a safe, comfortable place where they can do exactly that. I want my students to feel comfortable exploring and learning. I want my students to be able to compete with others who have technology readily available to them. I want to show my students how to use technology to help them learn. But in order to do that I need a place to safely secure our new laptop and overhead projector. I need your help to provide a locking cart so that I can keep our tools of technology safe.
