As a first year counselor, creating a counseling space with an adequate amount of age-appropriate counseling tools on a teacher's salary for an entire Kindergarten through fifth grade population can be challenging. I need your support in developing a library of books, games, and other tools that will help me serve the diverse population with which I work. Your consideration for helping is greatly appreciated! This project will provide calming tools, books for bibliotherapy, research-based counseling references, and objects to promote emotional regulation in the classroom. School counselors fill a vital role in promoting social-emotional learning, character development, and career influence.
