The laptops I am asking for will allow my students to have daily access to Failure Free Reading, a reading program purchased by the district's special education department for our use. Unfortunately, we have a computer shortage in our particular building and have not been able to allow the students to access the program with any regularity. The laptops will allow the students to work on their reading skills using an evidence based program. The skills obtained by using this program on the laptops will open up many opportunities that these students would not otherwise have. Learning to read will allow my students to get closer to fulfilling their dreams and these laptops could make all the difference.
