Many students are visual learners. Having this document camera will allow me to show the students many things up on the board. I can project their workbooks or reading books onto the board. This will make it easier for all students to see. I can also show them my own work as examples of what they should be doing and where they should be working. I will also be able to celebrate the students' own work by projecting it onto the board for presentations and examples. This will also allow them to take ownership of their work. Who wouldn't work harder if they knew everyone would be seeing their final product?
