All the new technology programs for reading, math and science require newer computer models with upgraded software. My students have two very old computers in the classroom that most of the time freeze and do not work. In order for them to access new and innovative programs provided by the district daily it has been a challenge. My aim is to provide my students with the state of art technology in the classroom so they too are given the opportunity to access technology programs that will help them make learning gains in all core subject areas. This new laptop will give them opportunity to access the learning programs provided by the district which is mandatory to help them make learning gains. Each student will be given at least 15 minutes to access these programs on a daily basis. This laptop will make a difference in the classroom.
