My students come from a variety of backgrounds. Some may have educational supplies at home, while others may not. I want to make sure that every student in my room has adequate supplies, including a clipboard to do their research and writing. Further, I would love for all of my kindergarten students to be aware of different careers and what community helpers do. I know that not all early childhood students are exposed to these jobs in our community; I would like for my students to "experience" the roles of community helpers through costuming and dramatic play.
