Our school is in a military town and there are always new students coming to the classrooms. Many students have parents who serve our country. If their parents are overseas, I want our classroom to be a home away from home. I believe this rug would be the perfect item to make our room extra cozy while also being educational! Students in first grade are learning so many new things...how to blend sounds to make words, learning how to read, adding and subtracting, investigating many scientific lessons, learning more about our wonderful state of Georgia, and so much more! I want my first grade classroom to be a place where students can learn all of the standards they need to master first grade! These students are very eager to learn and I know that this rug would make learning more fun!
