My students are 7th and 8th graders who do not have the advantage of a school library or librarian. We learn through a hands on approach in our curriculum based on Aristotle's motto - "We learn by doing." In learning to read well and to enhance other core subjects like social studies or science, students are required to read a variety of genres throughout the year and we rely heavily on donations, parent purchases, or the limited resources we already have on head.

About my class
