My students are exceptional 11th graders with incredible intellect and potential. The majority of the students, however, were not blessed to be born with silver spoons in their mouths but have had to fight for every success that they have achieved. The high school which the students attend is 97% free or reduced lunch and is a striving school which means that it has not made Adequate Yearly Progress in recent years. Every student in my class has the potential to be an exceptional student but unfortunately has not always been given the resources or instruction that they need to succeed. My goal is to help the students feel successful in their academic endeavors and set themselves on a path to college.

About my class
