My fifth grade students have a love for learning. Many begin the day with me, before the first bell rings, on one of five computers in our classroom that are operational. This is the time they practice their math, science, and literacy skills. This is also a time when they are free to ask for help or just eat their breakfast in peace. My students support and congratulate each other's successes. My students are compassionate and caring, and have created their own classroom family at school. They come from homes that are supportive and hardworking. I currently have 19 students whose abilities range, but the strength of their character is commendable. Hard work is rewarded and praise is earned. We are committed to taking control of our academic future and our future begins now.
