My 33 4th grade students attend a public school in Southern California. Most of my students have grown up in a four block radius their whole lives. Since most of the students come from low-income families, many of them do not own cars, have access to the Internet at home or have their own school supplies. Overall, 94% of our school is on the free or reduced lunch program.
