Word and Sentence Building materials are needed to help create more proficient readers and writers in my classroom. My students are able to read and blend basic three letter words like cat and dog. These materials will help further their abilities by providing activities for them to blend words with consonant blends, like flat and grab.The sight word materials will provide my students with fun and exciting ways to practice reading the most commonly used words in text. Finally, the sentence building materials will help build a better knowledge of sentence structure as well as practice with reading the high frequency words. All of these materials will work together to build a better foundation for further reading success.
