Our school is 98% poverty, it is highest percentage in our city, and therefore we are trying as many ways as we can to help our kids stay ahead of the game in education by providing them with as much experiences and technological needs that we can. But some of the devices get pretty pricey. Other schools in our state (IN) the kids can bring their own iPads to schools and our students do not have those types of opportunities. As teachers, we do "Whatever it takes" to help benefit our students as much as we can, and that is why we are turning to Donors Choose program. We want our students to graduate from high school and college, and what to provide these type of resources for them to motivate them to set goals for their future. A lot of our curriculum is going online, and our funds cannot help with everything we need for our students.
