The school is an International Baccalaureate school that focuses on Project-Based learning and cross-curricular connections. The iPad would allow students to connect outside of the classroom while gaining the expected knowledge. The parish and school emphasize the integration of technology into each unit. The students are very energetic and benefit from lessons that use new technology and current trends. Most students do not have iPads and some even lack what you and I may consider basic technology in their home. I believe that the students would really benefit from daily integration of technology into the class. Students would be able to use the iPad daily for hands on learning. The school also use PBIS model to encourage good behavior and academic success. Having the opportunity to use an iPad daily in class would be a privilege leading to positive behavior and effort in class.
