Our district is a high poverty/high risk district that is in need of funds for anything additional to the basics. Our students work hard, but the current tough economic times make it harder to purchase anything additional. My students need help to support the hard work and love of learning our children need. Many of the students in my class of 30 are considered high risk, but giving them positive, hands-on experiences will help foster a love of learning for the rest of their lives.
