My 4th grade students are from a medium to high risk urban district. More than 70% of the students are on free and reduced lunch. If I could describe these kids in one word, I would definitely say they are characters! I have never seen more spunk and more unique approaches to learning. Just when I think I can anticipate their next move, they surprise me with amazing insight and work ethic. When I tempt them with a challenge, they take it with gusto. I am sure that with these resources, they will be motivated to take the next leap in their learning.
