Our elementary school is in a mostly residential neighborhood, which lies on the edge of a vibrant urban area. Some of our young students have never ventured much beyond its borders, while others have experienced the culture, noise, and excitement of the city firsthand. My students are energetic and creative, and bring their wide range of life experience to the art studio each week.
