The students in my classroom love hands-on activities in math. I recently received a new piece of technology in my classroom, a Smart Board. It is so beneficial to my students because 75% of them are tactual and kinesthetic learners. The smart board activities will enhance students instructions and their learning; more importantly it will help them achieve success and become life long learners. My students attend a small school in Mississippi. Our school is a Title 1 school. My students were so amazed with touch learning, they did not want to stop. The Smart Board is a wonderful learning tool, but unfortunately, we do not have enough math software to use with it. I have a diverse group of learners who have different needs. My students range from above grade level to learning disable in math. We work hard each and every day and students care about the success of their classmates. Everyone is willing to help in any way that he/she can to achieve our goal, Mastery Learning.
