Imagine a typical day where students are eager to learn and technology is what they dream about having. I face many challenges when teaching in a low income school with a very tight budget, As a teacher, having students be competitive in today's technology world is of utmost importance. We do live in a technology based world. The school district that I teach in is more than 60% free and reduced lunch. Most students do not have Internet at home. My students demonstrate a strong desire to learn by always wanting to know more. They love hands on activities that keep the questions coming for me!
