My students are great! I work at a Title One school where the percentage of students who receive free or reduced lunch is close to 90%. Although my students face challenges as a result of low SES, they are polite, respectful, and eager to learn. I teach students with special needs. The majority of the students I teach have a specific learning disability which makes reading very difficult for them. My students range in reading levels from second to fifth grade. Overall, they struggle with decoding, fluency, and comprehension.
