My students attend an inner city public Tennessee elementary school located in a high poverty area. Our school is a Title 1 school, which means the majority of the students are economically and educationally disadvantaged. My students are African American and receive free lunch. Despite the challenges my students face, they are eager to learn. The students are responsible, and can handle these materials successfully.
