My students are individuals that attend school 98% of the students are on free or reduce lunch. The students have the desire to learn but often have a hard time understanding math concepts without some type of technology for implementation and reteaching. The school is in a very poor neighborhood with the test scores falling behind state average and in need of technology to differentiate teaching concepts. The students also come from single parent homes and many live with grandparents, but they value getting an education but the struggles sometime overwhelm them. My students are the students of delinquent parents, but they are also the future politician, doctors, lawyers, and teachers of our world.
