I teach each of the 400+ students in grades K-5 and see each class once per week. In that time, we do read-a-longs, research, and they search for books. Our students also have the opportunity to work in the newly formed Maker Space which replaced much of our aged Reference section. This space complements our books and other media and is a challenge to our students. Ours is a school of children from hard working parents in a middle class neighborhood. Average children working to achieve the American dream. Encouraging and exciting them to read and create is a good way to help them along that path.

About my class
