My students are eager to learn, explore their world, and especially play! All my students live in a low income community in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Several of my students have different types of disabilities ranging from Speech and Language Impairment, Intellectual Disability, to Autism Spectrum Disorder. We are a family in my room and everyone is treated as an equal learner. My students are full of energy and they are most definitely eager to learn. They love to look at books, count images, hear rhymes, and sing along anytime they can.
