Please help us make one-lesson-fits-all history! Every day in the classroom we TEACH advocating for ourselves, so why not MODEL advocating on behalf of our students? With such a range of abilities in the classroom, technology is a tool that makes meeting students needs possible and powerful! We plan to use Chromebooks to customized learning in both literacy and mathematics. In the morning, students will use Chromebooks to read high-interest, fiction and nonfiction texts (at their level) along with utilizing fluency and comprehension applications that respond to student needs. Also, Chromebooks will give students another option other than pencil and paper when it comes to publishing their writing pieces. In the afternoon, an effective and efficient routine will have students using the Chromebooks to differentiate their learning in mathematics by offering exposure to new skills or giving extra practice where needed. Help us make it happen!!
