My students are thirsty for information and activities. They are 7 and 8 year old children who ask questions, wonder, explore, discuss, and yes, argue their viewpoints. Our school is a neighborhood school that literally hasn't changed since the day it was built! The students want to "play" and learn, but our materials are outdated and pieces are missing, so understandably, they are less excited. My hope is to rejuvenate them with inspiring new materials!
