Our school has grown the largest computer science program in our state--we offer a full pathway of five different courses that students can take, from introductory level to college-credit earning courses. Our students--who come primarily from groups that are underrepresented in computer science-- are more diverse than the national average, and we work hard at recruiting nontraditional participants into our pathway. The students we do have are passionate about programming; they create apps, games, and programs to solve problems in the community. We are always striving to bring relevant, hands-on activities to the students through coursework and after school experiences.
