My first graders are delightful little spirits that can brighten days with smiles or makemy heart weep with sadness. Coming to school for most is the happiest part of their day. The class is a tapestry of cultures and social economic backgrounds. I am blessedto have the opportunity to supervise future teachers through their practicums and work closely with the college. Our school opens the doors each day to K-5 learners many who start with breakfast that is provided and a place to finish homework. The school is old and has limited "modern conveniences"... but, we all call it our home away from home!
