Small classroom, limited supplies, no workbooks, but a lot of love. That describes what we have for our Math department. We have a ton of enthusiasm and a passion for trying to learn math. I want to focus on what we DO have and not on what we DON'T have in terms of facilities. The more options for learning we can create to play with the better. We are a Title I school in California, which means most of my students come from low income housing. Our student body is 99% Latino. They don't have much at home and I want to provide a great Math experience for them. As most kids, they have a ton of energy and with some help from you, we can funnel that energy into a growing passion for Math. I want to introduce a variety of relative purposes for math to these students so they can learn the importance.
