The Morris Drama team is pieced together much like a patchwork quilt- unique character, vibrant colors, and mismatched designs. . . But just as our favorite comfort item holds familiarity and purpose, so does too the patchwork blended family we call theatre. I have worked especially hard to create a space where no matter your background or special skill, Rm. 8 is a trusted place for all to belong. H.S. can be challenging and I have found over my 18 year long career, that more than anything students need to be able to identify with others. Our Drama Team services this need through our shared love of the arts. We are goofy, loud, creative, and amazingly intelligent! As each year begins, its awe inspiring to see how quickly they establish trust within our community. With the freedom of feeling safe, students explore newly sought skills in public speaking and acting. These accomplishments are deeply rewarding.
