My 5th grade students are transitioning into harder math concepts. These magnetic math manipulatives will help me to teach in a more hands-on approach to large groups of students at a time. Oversized versions of traditional manipulatives to be used on a whiteboard will help me demonstrate lessons to large groups. Students will then know how to better use the manipulatives to practice in smaller groups or independently. The fact that these manipulatives are actual concrete things will better reach my 5th-grade students than using virtual examples.
