The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students already have a "purpose." In other words, I know exactly what I will do with them. The activity tubs will be used for students to get hands on experiences. Classroom books and models will help students see and understand the science they are learning about. Science can be difficult for students to understand but with these materials I can create more engaging lessons, give students hands on practice, and create a fun learning environment. Students who normally struggle with lecture style classes will have an opportunity to get hands on and be more engaged in lessons.
