As a first-year teacher, I wanted to give my students the best classroom that they could imagine. However, at this moment it is still unorganized and doesn't feel like a completely functional classroom. They need a place where they can let their creativity show and have fun doing it. My students want an inviting classroom to come to every day. To have the ability to learn and do their work anywhere in the classroom. I have learned that my students don't learn their best by sitting at a desk every day or doing the same old pencil and paper or computer work. When they need to they will be able to take home supplies that they would need to complete their work. Like markers and colored pencils, dry erase boards, and books. I encourage students to take a book home every night to read. Having more books in the classroom makes it possible.
